"With EmControl and Panfeed - I simply benefit!"

Werner Müller, owner of Müller Embroidery, describes the situation of his business in the year 2005 as follows: „Decreasing size of orders and the increasing numbers of breakdowns of automat and costly repair have been an increasing problem for our company“. The break in the Vorarlberger Embroidery sector didn‘t stop in front of Müller Embroidery. Small size of orders with increasing quality requests required an investment in the machinery.

Müller Embroidery has been founded 40 years ago in Wolfurt, Austria. The company specialises itself on manufacturing high-quality embroideries for underwar and women‘s outer garments. They produce on 3 Saurer embroidery machines.

To avoid the high cost of frequently repairing the automat and to make the Saurer 2S55 more flexible, Werner Müller decided to retrofit to Pantec EmControl, which was done in march 2005. The input turned immediately to account.

„We didn‘t have to produce any cards for sampling and all of a sudden, we got orders which wouldn‘t have been possible and economical for us before. And furthermore the handling after retrofitting became more simply and faster“. This flexibility became an attribute to his embroidery, to manage small orders without any additional efforts is our key to success and EmControl was the additional option. Furthermore, Mr. Müller is glad that he can make a solid planning of the machine output and delivery dates.

„Formerely a breakdown of the automat could disarrange the whole production planning, but now the machine moves stable  - and if I have problems, Pantec is there immediately".

In july 2006, Werner Müller decided to install the thread delivery system panfeed on the machine. The results surprised him. „With Panfeed we are able to embroider the queasest fabrics like organdy or tricot. The explanation is easy. Panfeed reduces the tension on the yarn, so there is no deformation of the fabric. Furthermore the large thread guide can still be set freely, which enables you to make very voluminous designs“. At the high quality claim of the company an awesome feature plus additionally the effect, that needle- and yarnbreaks rarely appear.

„... and the best“, Mr. Müller said, „since we have panfeed on our machine, we are able to embroider all different fabrics from cotton until tricot with needles in size double-zero, which are usually capable just for thin fabrics, which means that we don‘t have to change the needles“.  For a company, which has to manage different fabrics on the same machine, five hours changeover are worth real money.
